• I bought this as i was looking for a long TV unit. at 208cm, this fit the bill perfectly. there seems to be little choice of TV units over 180cm. The unit is very heavy and sturdy and looks great. The Brown colour has a slight wood grain to it, which isnt described in the product info, but looks nice. the shelves and drawers are sturdy and of useful size (shelf positions adjustable) BAD POINTS The unit is supplied flat packed in 3 boxes for self assembly. I wasnt expecting this, as i cant find it mentioned anywhere on this website. As this item is so large and heavy it is a 2 person job to fit the massive top piece. without this piece in place it is very difficult to move without causing damage, so construction is best done in its final position. It is also very difficult to move (due to weight and design) when it is fully assembled. You will require a large area to build this. One final bad point- with the shelves in place, the cable access holes only allow access to the middle shelf (the shelves go right to the back panel with no gap). This wasnt a massive problem, as i used a holesaw to put an additional 2 holes into the back panel, but i dont expect to have to get a drill out and modify a piece of furniture that cost the best part of £300! From order to delivery took 10 weeks, which i think is excessive. (and yes, they took my money when i placed the order, not when item was dispatched!) Overall I am happy with the unit, but feel others should know about these bad points before they order.
