Pesante Coffee Table

This beautiful Pesante Coffee Table is made from solid pine and finished with a dark wax to give it a rustic feel which really compliments the overall design. To maintain this lovely finish it's recommended that you wax it every few months to care for it. The coffee table is a large square shape made from 6 long blocks of wood which all join together to create the table top. This is then balanced on top of a smaller block for support. This means that the table has a very oriental feel to it because it isn't standing on legs like many of the tables you commonly find in the west are. This will add a very classy touch to your living room and ensure that you're the right of fashion.Just because it's an oriental style doesn't mean you have to sit on the floor to use it, however, as it is the perfect size to work in tandem with a standard sofa or arm chair to ensure that you're as comfortable as possible when using it. The table is handmade, which gives it a very rustic and unique charm which you and any guests you have over for coffee will really appreciate and because of this each table had its own unique patterns and knots in the wood to make it individual.The wood is very easy to care for an if you follow the instructions to wax it every two or three months the wood will remain moisturised and clean looking, and you'll also be able to retain the charming dark pine colour which makes it look so unusual yet classy. A standard clear furniture wax is perfect for this as it is gentle enough not to alter the colour, but strong enough to keep it nice and clean.
