Tablets of Stone is a brand new artwork range that recreates the ancient art of “trompe l’oeil” (pronounced ‘tromp loy’, literally meaning “trick the eye”) for the 21st century.
Each of the six products in this range is a faithful reproduction in canvas of an original stone carving by one of the world’s leading stone carvers, Martin Cook.
Using traditional photographic and modern printing techniques, these canvas prints are indistinguishable from the original stone carvings, but are light enough to hang on any wall.
Each canvas “tablet” is available in two sizes, Medium and Large, and features a convivial or thought-provoking phrase in beautiful lettering that will ensure it becomes an enduring focal point in any home.
