Anyone who has attempted to redesign their home will tell you that decorating the kids’ rooms often gives them the hardest time. As not everyone has the same modern furniture design aspirations and ideas as yourself, most notably the kids themselves.

This will undoubtebly lead to squabbles which inturn leads to arguments that eventually lead to tears and me heading out the door and down the pub for some peace and quiet.

It has to be said that when people start decorationg their homes, they normally concentrate on doing the living room and kitchen first, followed by the bedrooms then last of all comes the humble bathroom. People love to collect things of interest whether it’s glass ornaments from a country they have visited or shiny stones stones found on foreign shores. The problem is that when we get home these memorabilia normally sit on top of the wardrobe or in the suitcase till the following year. Displaying your ‘artefacts’ can be difficult if you have nowhere to display them.

Coffee tables are the perfect addition to any room as they have the ability to bring all your other pieces of furniture together. They can either be big and bold, glass topped or ultra modern. With today’s building or financial restraints some living or dining rooms may be smaller than what your normally expected and therefore large pieces of furniture are unsuitable and may look either out of place or awkward.
