What is it about a shiny piece of glass that can do so much for a room, whether it be straight, circular, bevelled or even etched, many homes in Britain would look bare without it. I am not talking about our windows, I am referring to mirrors.

Mirrors play an essential part in any home – women use them too dry and style their hair, many a man would be a lot more hairier if it were’nt not for his trusted shaving mirror and we all use them to see just how good we look (or not) in our outfit for the day.

Just When You Thought It Safe To Decorate The Kids’ Room

Anyone who has attempted to redesign their home will tell you that decorating the kids’ rooms often gives them the hardest time. As not everyone has the same modern furniture design aspirations and ideas as yourself, most notably the kids themselves.

This will undoubtebly lead to squabbles which inturn leads to arguments that eventually lead to tears and me heading out the door and down the pub for some peace and quiet.

It has to be said that when people start decorationg their homes, they normally concentrate on doing the living room and kitchen first, followed by the bedrooms then last of all comes the humble bathroom. Vertical Display Cabinets

People love to collect things of interest whether it’s glass ornaments from a country they have visited or shiny stones stones found on foreign shores. The problem is that when we get home these memorabilia normally sit on top of the wardrobe or in the suitcase till the following year. Displaying your ‘artefacts’ can be difficult if you have nowhere to display them.

When You Can’t Afford To “Have The Builders In”
