Contemporary Doors Make A Stunning Entrance

What does your door say about you? Does your front exterior door look inviting and stylish or are you more of a stay well away from my abode type person. Y’see, doors do communicate a message to those who live outside your habitual domain. I’m not meaning the small stickers, either, telling cold-calling salesmen to stay well away. There are very many styles of doors of which to choose to help fit in with your neighbourhood environment.

Banksy Laughing All The Way To The Bank

You’ve probably heard of guerrilla street artist, Banksy, and if you hadn’t, then you have now. Banksy, is probably one of the most famous (or infamous) artists alive today. His work has captured the imagination of millions and also the discouragement of many. Banksy’s work craves on controversy, on realism, on greed and on injustice. He uses urban settings as his canvas, and now has A-list celebrities as fanbois.

New York Contemporary Flat Offers Over 40 Million Pounds, Please!

I thought there was a lack of ‘moolah’ floating around right now, especially in America, where the credit crunch is really getting-its-teeth into the economy. Yeah, well, if that is the case then no-one told property realtor, James Sherwin, whose job it is to sell over 40 refurbished penthouses, each costing around 40 million pounds each.

What is Contemporary Furniture?

Contemporary furniture is defined as pieces of furniture that are belonging to the same period of time. Meaning that contemporary furniture that was designed in the sixties was furniture that was modern and fitted with the design styles for that era (the sixties). So, when people talk of contemporary furniture, it may mean modern furniture of today or modern furniture from a time in the past. Confusing, isn’t it. However, a sixties contemporary piece of furniture may still look modern in today’s environment, its all about personal judgement and style.

Bathrooms of The Future

It seems our personal bathing habits may get primitive according to some experts. It’s time to do away with our white ceramic bathroom suites and start to think of more contemporary, natural materials to help furnish the littlest room in the house. Copper baths seem to be making a splash (bad joke I know) again in what looks like a kickback to more simple times, also consider Brass baths.
