No one likes to feel the bite of the cold bitter winter weather, especially me. Sure, you get the smart people who try to make the bad weather a bit more bearable by wearing modern materials and waterproof jackets. During the winter, I normally love to sit in my home and listen to the rain bouncing of the roofs and windows. In some kind of a weird way, I find it has a therapeutic, even hypnotic, sound. As you sit there, all warm in your favourite chair, you might catch yourself drifting away to sunnier times and climates.

As much as these designs are amazing, I would like to refer to what you wrote about listening to the rain drops on the rooftops and windows being therapeutic. it is not weired, as a kid my room was at the top floor and above me was tile roof, every night during the winter I would fall asleep to the sound of raindrops falling on that roof, and now, that I own my own home, I have especially installed tiles on my house roof just to have the soothing sound of raindrops.
there is nothing like it in my eyes, and I even meditate to this sound (I have a meditation CD with stormy sounds) – so don’t feel weired!
