As parents one of the biggest headaches in your life will be when your children reach that age when they say to you “can we help you decorate our bedroom”, then the thoughts of canary yellow and black gloss paint on the ceilings and woodwork mixed with striped wallpaper flood into your head. To be honest this is an image that you don’t want, although, helping your children redecorate their room can be very exciting and fun.
As children get older they tend to get embarrassed with their parents decor choices as they attempt to pick a theme for their kids bedroom, gone are the fairies, action men and Thomas the Tank and in there place come the gaming stations, laptops and pop idols.
When helping to decorate your teenage girl’s bedroom remember they are no longer a little girl and may like a theme to follow their favourite pop idol, using pastel colours and shades of pink and white will give that soft feel to their room while teenage boys are into gaming stations and sporting hero’s again try using blues and whites.
Once the room is decorated, that only leaves the furniture to complete the feel of the room. Try to use cabinets and desks that will support the computer or television and not forgetting somewhere for the kids to be seated. Seating will play an important part of any kids room the more comfortable the seating the longer they will spend in their own little place of paradise, one of the coolest and most comfortable seats you will ever find is the Spot On Hand Rotating Chair this seat ensure you children sit in their room watching TV, gaming or chatting to friends on the computer.

I remember my first attempt at decorating my own room. Purple and orange walls with lime green gloss on the wood. Loved it at the time but thinking back, it was really hideous.
I’d suggest now, a more neutral modern colour scheme such as plain white, using the furniture and artwork/posters to reflect the child/teen’s favourite theme. This makes it so much easier to redecorate once the child moves into a new phase. A few cool items can really turn a bland white room into a trendy modern hideaway which your child will love.
I recently bought this chair (red) and it matches my flat living room nicely!
It is actually very comfortable too but I would like to point the fact that you need a wide room in order to place it otherwise you can’t move
