With the big switchover from analogue to digital TV already underway in many parts of the country, this January will be a busy time for families looking to purchase the latest plasma, LCD or LED televisions. Many now consider their TV as the main focal point of their room, so why place your state-of-the-art piece of electronic equipment away in a corner, out of the way.
When people purchase a modern TV they may well be thinking of hanging it on the wall, in-fact they probably imagine it hanging in their room before the actually get it home.
Wall fitted TV’s look great but a couple of things have to considered, before you get out the electric drill and screwdriver.
1) What about the cables that will come from your digital TV receiver, DVD player and games consoles? If they are not already channelled into your wall then they are going to be visible to everyone – I’ve seen quite a few households like this and it is pretty unsightly – let me tell you.
2) Then there’s the height factor – you have to consider the perfect viewing place so that people don’t get sore necks whilst watching their favourite soap, if the TV is positioned too high up the wall.
Two of the best options are the Boca TV Stand or the Fornovo TV Stand these modern, glass and chrome tv stands will hold your new television at the perfect viewing height whilst keeping all the cables from other electrical appliances out of sight.
