I’ve never been to a casino before, well except for when I’m watching a James Bond or a ratpack movie, but last week I was travelling on the train and these two ladies, sitting opposite, were chatting about their night out at a casino. The conversation then turned to one of them proclaiming that she wanted the trendy looking bar stools they were sitting on in her own home, yet, she was unsure of where to buy them.

As you can imagine, here I am, sitting there, knowing full well where she can go online and purchase her trendy, casino, looking bar stools. But, I’m also thinking, is it appropriate to interrupt these ladies and offer my advice. How would it be received? Would they just see my interaction as complete bad manners? Or would the lady in question be thankful for my helpful advice?

As I pondered, what to do, my approaching station, shook me from my precarious moment and as I stood to rise to leave the compartment, I turned and said aloud, “Google ‘contemporary bar stools’.” The lady who was seeking the casino bar stools, looked at me, smiled and told me thanks as I made my exit.

So, for that lady in the train, I’m posting some trendy, casino, bar stools, in the hope that she might indeed, ‘Google contemporary bar stools‘ and find this page.
