As we start to approach the traditional witching time of Halloween, one can soon expect to hear children rapping your front door just as your sitting down to enjoy your night time meal. Then, those inevitable words screech out “Trick or Treat”. When did it all get so Americanised?

You want to tell them to ‘politely’ go away but then you run the risk of your car or house being hit by a barrage of eggs or worse.

It is easier to just play along – it is only for a few hours, mind. Heck you could even buy some designer furniture that fits into the mood of the day, like below…

1. With this gruesome guy watching over your house, visitors will surely be limited.

2. If the kids manage to get past the front door, there are otherways to scare them, what about this Alien coffee table the perfect way to give them the whole Halloween experience.

3. This ‘scary’ chair will look great in any haunted house.

4. What about the dragons claw as an outside light, this will ensure your little victims will see the way in.

On the other hand you can just do what I do, turn off the lights and pretend your not in. Works a treat!
