The modern bathroom is probably one of the most overused and underlooked rooms in your home. Perhaps it is on a par with your kitchen as the room that gets the most traffic. Bathrooms come in many differing shapes and sizes, even the smallest of bathrooms can be designed to give a feeling of more space.
Traditionally, the kitchen is the first room to be redecorated or restyled, closely followed by the living room, dining rooms, bedrooms and then, finally, we get around to the bathroom.
In recent years the style and materials used in bathrooms has changed, we are now using materials such as acrylic, glass and chrome. Baths come readily available in many shapes, some even have water jets to gently massage your troubles away.
Bathroom accessories have also changed. Low voltage, coloured lighting exist alongside the use of large mirrors, giving the feeling of space, even in the tiniest of bathrooms this can make a huge difference. Bathrooms, no longer need to fit into the white marble traditional feel, we were all once accustomed with.
