Contemporary Beds Need Good Mattresses

Let’s face it with today’s economical climate many of us have not got much to smile about and with many people worried about the future of their own work place sleeping seems to be the last thing on people’s minds. When we don’t get enough sleep our mood can change from calm and collected to irritable and grumpy, in a recent survey carried out by National Sleep Foundation (NSF) around 40 million people suffer from some type of sleeping disorder.

Many people are going to their bed’s and laying on a mattresses which is flattened, miss-shaped, old and have no support what-so-ever, one way to help you get a better sleep pattern is to invest in a good quality bed with a mattress that is suited to your bodies needs.

According to the NSF a good mattress can give you an as much as 42 minute’s extra sleep each night.

When choosing a new bed we are often limited by space so be sure to choose wisely, what size are you going to get (single, double or King size) and what type of mattress – conventional, air, memory foam or water?

It is also worth remembering that the style of a contemporary bed is generally low with an open frame. This will translate into a lower-to-the-ground bed. Keep in mind that this may not be a healthy choice for you if you have problems with lowering yourself, with your back or hips.

Many contemporary beds have sweeping lines with no posts and ornamentation, so their simple design will ensure it fits in with most decors. Remember a good quality mattress could give you as much as an extra 42minutes of sleep a night.

The mattress is more important than the bed itself and its amazing how many people overlook this.
