Remember the bar slogans, “Free beer tomorrow” and “Beer is the answer, I just can’t remember the question”, it was great to read signs like that down at your local bar, sitting with your ‘beer buddies’ enjoying a few drinks. Unfortunately, days or nights like that are no longer apart of modern living. The no smoking ban and the present economical climate has seen people no longer afford to or want to spend much time in their local bars and clubs.
In a recent survey carried out on behalf of the British Beer and Pub Association, found that more of us are now opting to buy drink from our local off licence or supermarket and entertain at home.
There is a downside with entertaining from home, however, beer bottles and cans sitting on every worktop in your kitchen. Peanuts, crisps and sandwiches taking up space on your dining table, not to mention your good dining chairs being used as extra seating.
Now, wouldn’t it be better to have that little area in your own home filled with your own bar? Home bars are essentially becoming a modern part of people’s lives.
