Eco-Friendly Furniture Or A Step Too Far

I do love designers getting into the green theme of recycling material, especially where modern furniture is concerned. However, I’m not 100% sold, as-of-yet, to the product I’m about to highlight today. Carboard Furniture is not a new thing its been around for a few years, mostly the furniture pieces in the past were made from re-inforced cardboard held together by some very strong glue or the occasional screw – just in case.

Now, a Dutch company has went a step further and has delivered the World’s first cardboard furnished working office and not a drop of glue or screw in site. All the pieces are interlocked, to help give the pieces more stability. A few questions run over my mind regarding the office cardboard – the main one being how the material (reinforced cardboard) handles heat from pc machines and lighting over a period of time. Still, I am intrigued by it all, although not fully convinced. What do you think?
