I thought there was a lack of ‘moolah’ floating around right now, especially in America, where the credit crunch is really getting-its-teeth into the economy. Yeah, well, if that is the case then no-one told property realtor, James Sherwin, whose job it is to sell over 40 refurbished penthouses, each costing around 40 million pounds each.

The building the penthouses are part of was once a 4-star hotel used by a-list celebrities such as ‘Kate Moss’ and ‘Johnny Depp’ to name a few. Each apartment has been earmarked for a contemporary furniture makeover by contemporary designers such as Patrice Dangel, Mattia Bonetti and Eric Schmitt.

When quizzed over the asking price for the penthouses and apartments, when everybody else is slashing their house prices, James Sherwin just laughed it off saying, “We’re still in the business for something fun. If you buy a landmark building, in a landmark location, in a landmark city, you can’t go wrong.”

Here’s hoping your right James, time for us all to start cheering up and looking forward to when things begin to look brighter.
