Originally designed by Miles Van der Rohe for The German Pavillion building at the Barcelona World Fair in 1929, this chair is still the choice for movie stars, film directors, pop stars, architects in fact most people who are 'in the know' already own one of these elegant pieces of furniture.
The grade 304 stainless steel chromed frame has thick leather straps which support the beautifully upholstered cushions covered with luxurious full grain Italian leather and filled with flame-retardant urethane pads. The Barcelona chair has been in production for 80 years with few changes to its original design making it a true 20th century classic.
